Easter 2011

I have discovered that I am a better blogger when my laptop is left on the kitchen counter and the camera is left on the top of the entertainment center! When everything is all put away they tend to stay put away.

This Easter was fun for me. The Easter bunny loved that he needed to bring two Easter baskets! The Saturday before Easter we got together and loaded my sisters families things into a budget truck and helped them prepare for their move to Libby, Montana.

With this being our last Easter together we enjoyed one last round of our Easter tradition of dying eggs. I love that each of the kids get a dozen or more eggs, and they can dye their eggs until their hearts content. It is so much fun to see them get so excited! It is cheap entertainment for everyone!

Last year Izzy was so clueless as to what to do! She wanted to drink the dye instead of putting her egg inside of it! This year it was completely different! This year she even wanted to dye her pants, shoes, legs, hands, and Crystal’s kitchen floor!

The next morning the Easter Bunny made his visit to our house. We woke up Izzy and she came running out of her room and was so excited to see the baskets that the Easter Bunny had left her, and Nolan. However, it was difficult for her to understand that ONE basket was for HER, and the OTHER was for NOLAN! It was interesting watching her itching to get into his basket!

Izzy loved her basket! She loves magma-doodles and the Easter Bunny decided to bring her a small one that is easier to tot around and fit in the car. John calls it her tablet! I think that’s funny since he’s such a techy-electronic guy that she has a tablet instead of a mini-magma-doodle!

Nolan loves his bendable bunnies! They have actually made wonderful teething rings for him!

I needed to post a picture of Isabelle’s morning hair! I love this little girl to pieces and I love her morning hair! She’s going to love it when she’s older!

I am so thankful that I was able to spend Easter with my loving husband who works so hard for us day in and day out. I am also thankful that I have two of the most beautiful, children in the world. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for allowing me to be their mother. I know that our Savior died for me, and that He lives today. I am so thankful for the atonement, and that it enables me to repent of my sins so that I can return to Him one day.

Happy Easter!
