Tablet posting

Back in May John really wanted to get me a tablet for mothers day. I read books, and play games on my phone such a wordfued, or solitare. I face book from my phone. I keep my pictures on my laptop, and I hated having a huge laptop plugged in all the time. The kids get into it, and I'm always playing referee to keep the thing plugged in, and Nolan out of the cords.  Any ways, he searched and searched for the perfect tablet for me. He came home and showed me endless youtube videos of different tablets. In my experiences I have learned to just take his advice regarding phones, computers, tablets, ect. The last time I chose my own device was in Novemeber when we got new phones. I'm constantly trying to convience him to switch phones with me. I've even tried my womanly wiles on him and it didn't work!

So John worked massive amounts of overtime, and I wasn't allowed to dedicate the money to ther places because this is what he really wanted to get me. The week the tablet launched it's sells in the US it never hit the stores. It sold out in internet pre-order sells. John worried and worried about it. It was sold out all over the US. One Tuesday morning John came running into the living room saying " the Fry's Electronics in San Diego has one! If it's okay with you I want to go get it. If we don't get it know they wont have any until mid-July!" An hour later we were on the road to San Diego! I was uneasy spending money on a trip and a tablet, but John insisted.

John is a not so good gift giver..... not so good at all. All I can say is slap chop.... anyways he feels horrible that gift giving isn't a thing he is good at so he really wanted this to make up for the 4 years of having to give my mom and sister money to pick up Christams and birthday's for me. (Poor guy!) I let him do it and he is so happy that he got me something that I love!

This tablet is AWESSOME! It's an Asus EEE Pad Transformer. . .now the really cool thing about it is that is cabable of connecting to a keyboard becoming an touch-screen-netbook! We couldn't afford the keyboard in May, but John surprised me with it today! I am sitting here blogging from my new tablet and keboard! I have the best husband in the world! I still can think of 10 million other places the money could have gone, but no use worrying over spilled milk....
